Let’s face it. Not everyone wants to get glammed up to go out on a date or park themselves in front of their favorite streaming service. Sometimes we just want to chill without Netflix. Here are 6 date night ideas where you can have fun at home.

Have a dinner party

Set the mood with some candles and light music in the background. Cook a delicious dinner with all your favorite dishes- it will be more romantic than eating takeout from your couch!

Play board games (My personal favorite)

Play some of your old favorites or try something new together- it’ll be fun to see if you can outsmart each other!

Make a puzzle

Grab some puzzles from the store and work on them together- it’ll be fun to see who can put them together first!

Visit a virtual art gallery

Art galleries have many interesting exhibits that can be both educational and fun. Depending on which exhibits are on display, it can easily be crowded. Try joining a virtual gallery. This way you can talk as much as you want and get the best view! If you are a local to Baltimore, the Baltimore Museum of Art has great virtual tours.

Watch the sunset together

Pack a picnic basket with your favorite foods, a blanket, and a bottle of wine. Find a nice spot to set up and enjoy the sunset together.

Take an at-home cooking class together

Surlatable.com has excellent classes that you and your bae can take together or you can take turns cooking dinner for each other, but agree on one dish beforehand!

Have a Karaoke Night

Sometimes it’s just great to let loose to your favorite songs whether you have the talent for it or not. No need to worry about public embarrassment.
